Version 1.1. Effective date: 02 July 2026. Last updated: 02 July 2026.

FixHelp, the service provider, uses one strictly necessary cookie, and only inside its signed-in apps. We do not use analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies at this time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and service workers.

2. What we use

NamePurposeDuration
fixhelp_sessionKeeps a signed-in mechanic signed in across page loads. Set as HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax.30 days, sliding window

This cookie is essential. You cannot use FixHelp’s signed-in apps without it.

The public FixHelp marketing site does not set any cookies. The cookie above is set only when a mechanic signs in to the FixHelp Pro app on its mechanic subdomains (app.fixhelp.app, onboarding.fixhelp.app, jobs.fixhelp.app) or to the separate FixHelp HQ product (hq.fixhelp.app).

The customer tracking link we send by text (on j.fixhelp.app) needs no sign-in and sets no cookie. Customers reach their report using the private link in their message, not a login.

3. What we do not use

  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar, PostHog, etc.)
  • Cross-site trackers

If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this page and show a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.

4. Managing your preferences

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there is no consent banner to interact with. You can clear all FixHelp cookies at any time via your browser settings; signing out removes the session cookie.
